REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6900
AN ACT ESTABLISHING A TEN-BED MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARAGUSAN, PROVINCE OF DAVAO DEL NORTE, TO BE KNOWN AS THE MARAGUSAN MUNICIPAL HOSPITAL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. There shall be established a ten-bed municipal hospital in the Municipality of Maragusan, Province of Davao del Norte, to be known as the Maragusan Municipal Hospital.
SECTION 2. The amount necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act shall be charged against the appropriations authorized for the purpose under the Fiscal Year 1989 General Appropriations Act. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for the operation and maintenance of the herein hospital shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 3. The Secretary of Health and/or his duly authorized representatives are hereby directed to issue directives for the implementation of this Act.
SECTION 4. All existing laws, decrees, and orders that are inconsistent with or contrary to this Act, or any part thereof, shall be deemed repealed, modified, amended and of no effect. acd
SECTION 5. Before the construction of the hospital, the Secretary of Health shall issue a written assurance that personnel of the hospital will be appointed and that funds for its maintenance and operation have been appropriated.
SECTION 6. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
