LETTER OF INSTRUCTIONS NO. 120

TO : All Heads of Departments, Agencies and Offices of the Government

To effect savings in foreign exchange, I hereby direct that all government officials or employees going on official travel abroad to secure, whenever possible, accommodations on Philippine owned/operated carriers, I further direct that travels to foreign countries of officials and/or employees of private firms in which the Government has substantial financial exposure shall, to the extent practicable, be made only on Philippine owned/operated carriers. cdt

The Department of Tourism, in collaboration with the Central Bank, shall prescribe the necessary guidelines to carry into effect the purposes and spirit of this instruction.

Strict compliance with this instruction is hereby enjoined.
