| SUBJECT | : | Direct Access of the Inter-Agency Council against Trafficking (IACAT) Administrative Staff to Court Records Pertaining to Trafficking in Persons Cases |
Acting on the letter dated 20 August 2018 of Hon. Emmeline Aglipay-Villar, Undersecretary-In-Charge for the Inter-Agency Council against Trafficking (IACAT), Department of Justice, referring the IACAT Secretariat's request for assistance of this Office in the monitoring and updating of Trafficking in Persons (TIP) cases filed and pending in the Regional Trial Courts, all concerned are hereby DIRECTED to ALLOW the IACAT Administrative Staff, whose names are enumerated in the appended Annex "A", to have DIRECTACCESS to the court records relevant to TIP cases filed and pending in your respective courts. This will help the IACAT Secretariat in facilitating the current implementation of its Prosecutor's Trafficking in Persons Case Management System to sixteen (16) Anti-Trafficking Task Forces.
Strict compliance is hereby enjoined.
