In view of the necessity of propagating to the Filipino people the contribution of the Muslim citizenry in our nation's struggle against foreign domination for over four hundred years and its contribution to Philippine nationhood, it is proper for our government to dedicate a stamp in honor of one of the great Filipino heroes, Sultan Mohammad Dipatuan Kudarat. cd
The stamp shall bear the facsimile of the medallion of the Ancient Order of Sultan Kudarat which shall be made available within the Fiscal Year 1973–74. The stamp shall be valued at ten centavos each.
