Proclamation No. 1770, issued on May 15, 2009, declares June 9, 2009, as a special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Rosario, Batangas. This designation allows the local populace to commemorate the Foundation Day anniversary of their municipality with appropriate celebrations. The proclamation was signed by Executive Secretary Eduardo R. Ermita under the authority of then-President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

DECLARING TUESDAY, JUNE 9, 2009, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ROSARIO, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS
WHEREAS, Tuesday, June 9, 2009, marks the Foundation Day anniversary of the Municipality of Rosario, Province of Batangas;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Municipality of Rosario, Province of Batangas, be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their municipality's history with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Tuesday, June 9, 2009, as special (non-working) day in the Municipality of Rosario, Province of Batangas.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
