DECLARING THURSDAY, JULY 23, 2009 AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN BATANGAS CITY

WHEREAS, Thursday, July 23, 2009, marks the founding day anniversary of Batangas City;

WHEREAS, it is but fitting that the people of Batangas City be given full opportunity to highlight this historic event through appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by the power of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Thursday, July 23, 2009, as a special (non-working) day in Batangas City.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
