PROCLAMATION NO. 44
DECLARING THURSDAY, 8 SEPTEMBER 2016, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BATANGAS
WHEREAS, to promote tourism and strengthen historical and cultural awareness, the Province of Batangas will hold its annual festival participated in by local government units, socio-civic and cultural groups along Taal Lake on Thursday, 8 September 2016;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Batangas be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Thursday, 8 September 2016, as a special (non-working) day in the Province of Batangas.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
