REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11378
AN ACT DECLARING JUNE 16 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF BAYBAY, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, TO BE KNOWN AS "BAYBAY CITY CHARTER DAY"
SECTION 1. June 16 of every year is hereby declared a special working holiday in the City of Baybay, Province of Leyte, to be known as "Baybay City Charter Day."
SECTION 2. On June 16 of every year, the City of Baybay, Province of Leyte, shall engage in festivities and conduct ceremonies and programs in cognizance of its history and culture, to be led by its officials and employees in coordination with civic, sports, religious and nongovernmental organizations and private businesses.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. HEITAD
