Declaring Friday, 15 July 2016, as a Special (Non-Working) Day in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR)

PROCLAMATION NO. 8
DECLARING FRIDAY, 15 JULY 2016, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CORDILLERA ADMINISTRATIVE REGION (CAR)
WHEREAS, Friday, 15 July 2016, marks the 29th Foundation Day of the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR);
WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Cordillera Administrative Region celebrate the occasion, the Cordillera Regional Development Council requested that Friday, 15 July 2016 be declared as a special (non-working) day;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of CAR be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO R. DUTERTE, do hereby declare Friday, 15 July 2016, as a special (non-working) day in the Cordillera Administrative Region.
