REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9428
AN ACT DECLARING FEBRUARY 14 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE CITY OF VALENZUELA TO BE KNOWN AS "ARAW NG LUNGSOD NG VALENZUELA"
SECTION 1. February 14 of every year is hereby declared a special working holiday in the entire City of Valenzuela to commemorate its conversion into a highly urbanized city and to be known as "Araw ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela". TEAcCD
SECTION 2. On this day, all city officials, national government agencies or instrumentalities, civic, religious and other nongovernment organizations, including private companies, shall recognize it as a day of celebration. 'The city government shall lead the appropriate activities in order to celebrate the city's progression into a highly urbanized city in the modern era.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
