Proclamation No. 1680, issued on November 26, 2008, declares Thursday, December 18, 2008, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Tuguegarao. This designation is made to allow the residents to fully celebrate the 9th Charter Day anniversary of the city with appropriate ceremonies. The proclamation was signed by Executive Secretary Eduardo R. Ermita, under the authority of President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

DECLARING THURSDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2008 AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF TUGUEGARAO
WHEREAS, Thursday, December 18, 2008, marks the 9th Charter Day anniversary of the City of Tuguegarao; IDSaTE
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Tuguegarao be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Thursday, December 18, 2008 as special (non-working) day in the City of Tuguegarao.
