DECLARING TUESDAY, 30 AUGUST 2022, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MANDAUE, PROVINCE OF CEBU
WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 5519 which was approved on 21 June 1969 created the City of Mandaue;
WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 586, series of 1969 designated 30 August 1969 as the formal organization of the government of the City of Mandaue;
WHEREAS, on 30 August 2022, Tuesday, the City of Mandaue will mark the celebration of its 53rd Charter Anniversary;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Mandaue be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to the public health measures of the national government;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, VICTOR D. RODRIGUEZ, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Tuesday, 30 August 2022, a special (non-working) day in the City of Mandaue.
