PROCLAMATION NO. 259
DECLARING MONDAY, 24 JULY 2017, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF GINGOOG
WHEREAS, the City of Gingoog marks the celebration of its Charter Day on the 23rd of July; cSEDTC
WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Gingoog celebrate the occasion, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Gingoog, Misamis Oriental requested that Monday, 24 July 2017 be declared as a special non-working day, instead of 23 July 2017, which falls on a Sunday; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Gingoog, be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 24 July 2017, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Gingoog.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 14th day of July, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Seventeen.
