PROCLAMATION NO. 997
DECLARING THURSDAY, 20 AUGUST 2020, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF LUCENA, PROVINCE OF QUEZON
WHEREAS, on 20 August 2020, Thursday, the City of Lucena, Province of Quezon, will mark the celebration of its Charter Day; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Lucena be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Thursday, 20 August 2020, a special (non-working) day in the City of Lucena, Province of Quezon.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 17th day of August, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Twenty.
