PROCLAMATION NO. 1147
DECLARING WEDNESDAY, 19 MAY 2021, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF BUTUAN
WHEREAS, on 19 May 2021, Wednesday, the City of Butuan will mark the celebration of the Balangay (Balanghai) Festival; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Butuan be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Wednesday, 19 May 2021, a special (non-working) day in the City of Butuan.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
DONE in the City of Manila, this 18th day of May, in the year of Our Lord, Two Thousand and Twenty-One.
