PROCLAMATION NO. 437
DECLARING MONDAY, 19 MARCH 2018, AS A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF CANLAON, PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL
WHEREAS, the City of Canlaon, Negros Oriental, marks the culmination of the week-long Pasayaw Festival on 19 March 2018;
WHEREAS, to enable the people of the City of Canlaon to fully celebrate the occasion, the City Government of Canlaon requested that Monday, 19 March 2018, be declared as a special non-working day in the City of Canlaon; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Canlaon be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 19 March 2018, as a special (non-working) day in the City of Canlaon, Negros Oriental.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
