PROCLAMATION NO. 1039
DECLARING MONDAY, 16 NOVEMBER 2020, A SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ORIENTAL MINDORO
WHEREAS, the Province of Oriental Mindoro will mark the celebration of its 70th Founding Anniversary on 15 November 2020;
WHEREAS, to enable the people of the Province of Oriental Mindoro to celebrate the occasion, the Office of the Governor requested that Monday, 16 November 2020, be declared a special (non-working) day in lieu of 15 November 2020, which falls on a Sunday; and
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the Province of Oriental Mindoro be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SALVADOR C. MEDIALDEA, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, RODRIGO ROA DUTERTE, do hereby declare Monday, 16 November 2020, a special (non-working) day in the Province of Oriental Mindoro.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
