DECLARING MONDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2007, AS SPECIAL (NON-WORKING) DAY IN THE CITY OF MEYCAUAYAN
WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 9356 dated December 10, 2006, provided for the conversion of the Municipality of Meycauayan into a component city to be known as the City of Meycauayan;
WHEREAS, Monday, December 10, 2007, marks the Charter Day anniversary of the City of Meycauayan;
WHEREAS, it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Meycauayan be given full opportunity to celebrate the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, EDUARDO R. ERMITA, Executive Secretary, by authority of Her Excellency, GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO, do hereby declare Monday, December 10, 2007, as special (non-working) day in the City of Meycauayan. SAHIaD
