Republic Act No. 3324, enacted on June 18, 1961, establishes the position of Deputy Register of Deeds for Northern Cagayan, with the office located in the Municipality of Aparri. This Deputy will be responsible for recording and signing registerable titles and documents related to lands in various municipalities within Northern Cagayan, while operating under the supervision of the Register of Deeds of Cagayan. The existing Deputy Register of Deeds for Cagayan will assume the duties outlined in this Act upon its approval. The Act took effect immediately upon its enactment.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3324
AN ACT CREATING A POSITION OF DEPUTY REGISTER OF DEEDS FOR NORTHERN CAGAYAN
SECTION 1. There is hereby created a position of deputy register of deeds for Northern Cagayan.
SECTION 2. The Deputy Register of Deeds for Northern Cagayan shall hold office in the Municipality of Aparri and shall record and sign exclusively registerable titles, documents and other instruments relative to lands situated in the Municipalities of Aparri, Camalaniugan, Lallo, Gattaran, Lasam, Allacapan, Buguey, Gonzaga, Abulug, Claveria, Ballesteros, Pamplona, Sanchez Mira, Calayan, Langangan and Sta. Ana: Provided, That he shall be under the administrative supervision of the Register of Deeds of Cagayan.
SECTION 3. The Deputy Register of Deeds for the Province of Cagayan at the approval of this Act shall be assigned to take over all the duties and functions of the Deputy of Register of Deeds for Northern Cagayan.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
