Creation of Municipality of Tubay, Agusan
Republic Act No. 188, enacted on June 22, 1947, establishes the municipality of Tubay in the Province of Agusan. It separates the existing barrios of Tubay, La Fraternidad, Tinigbasan, Cabayawa, Victory, Sta. Ana, and Tagmamarcay from the municipality of Cabadbaran to form this new municipality. The Act takes effect upon the President of the Philippines' proclamation. It was enacted without Executive approval and published in the Official Gazette in July 1947.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 188
AN ACT CREATING THE MUNICIPALITY OF TUBAY, PROVINCE OF AGUSAN
SECTION 1. The existing barrios of Tubay, La Fraternidad, Tinigbasan, Cabayawa, Victory, Sta. Ana, and Tagmamarcay, in the municipality of Cabadbaran, Province of Agusan, are hereby separated from said municipality and constituted into a new municipality to be known as the municipality of Tubay. cd i
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon the proclamation of the President of the Philippines.
Enacted, without Executive approval, June 22, 1947.
