Creation of Motor Vehicles Office Branch in Ilocos Sur

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3688

AN ACT CREATING A BRANCH OFFICE OF THE MOTOR VEHICLES OFFICE OF THE PROVINCE OF ILOCOS SUR, WITH PERMANENT STATION AT THE MUNICIPALITY OF CANDON, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR

SECTION 1. There is hereby created a branch office of the Motor Vehicles Office of the Province of Ilocos Sur, with permanent station at the Municipality of Candon, which shall be under the immediate control and supervision of a deputy motor vehicle registrar to be appointed by the Secretary of Public Works and Communications. The said deputy motor vehicle registrar shall receive the same salary as that provided for by the Wave and Position Classification Office for Motor Vehicle Registrar I and shall be assisted by such other personnel, likewise appointed by the Secretary of Public Works and Communications as may be necessary to carry out the duties appurtenant to the said branch office. aisa dc

SECTION 2. The sum of fifty thousand pesos, or so much thereof as may be necessary is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, to carry out the purposes of this Act. Thereafter, the necessary sum for the purpose shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
