Creation of Certain Barrios in New Piñan, Zamboanga del Norte
Republic Act No. 2128, enacted on April 7, 1959, establishes new barrios in the Municipality of New Pian, Zamboanga del Norte. It creates the barrio of Villarico, composed of the sitios Desin, Upper Disoy, San Fernando, San Vicente, Santa Fe, Sikitan, Dewacat, Dilawa, and Lambog. Additionally, it forms the barrio of Teresita from the sitios Upper Boboringan, Lower Boboringan, Penacio, Bagong Silang, and Situbo. The Act took effect immediately upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on May 11, 1959.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2128
AN ACT CREATING CERTAIN BARRIOS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NEW PIÑAN, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE
SECTION 1. The following sitios are constituted into barrios in the Municipality of New Piñan, Province of Zamboanga del Norte:
1. The sitios of Desin, Upper Disoy, San Fernando, San Vicente, Santa Fe, Sikitan, Dewacat, Dilawa and Lambog to be known as the barrio of Villarico; and
2. The sitios of Upper Boboringan, Lower Boboringan, Penacio, Bagong Silang and Situbo to be known as the barrio of Teresita.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
