Creation of Certain Barrios in Gen. MacArthur, Samar
Republic Act No. 4219, approved on June 19, 1965, establishes five new barrios in the Municipality of General MacArthur, Province of Samar. The sitios of Bagte, Tugop, Opong, Santa Fe, and Lanipawan are officially designated as barrios. This law took effect immediately upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on May 23, 1966.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4219
AN ACT CREATING CERTAIN BARRIOS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF GENERAL MACARTHUR, PROVINCE OF SAMAR
SECTION 1. The sitios of Bagte, Tugop, Opong, Santa Fe and Lanipawan in the Municipality of General MacArthur, Province of Samar, are converted into barrios of said municipality, to be known as the barrios of Bagte, Tugop, Opong, Santa Fe and Lanipawan, respectively.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
