Creation of Barrio Naspi in Pilar, Sorsogon
Republic Act No. 1718, enacted on June 21, 1957, establishes the barrio of Naspi in the municipality of Pilar, Sorsogon. It separates the sitios of Naspi and Calaguitan from the barrio of Putiao to form this new, independent barrio. The Act took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on August 31, 1957.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 1718
AN ACT CREATING THE BARRIO OF NASPI IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF PILAR, PROVINCE OF SORSOGON
SECTION 1. The sitios of Naspi and Calaguitan are separated from the barrio of Putiao, Municipality of Pilar, Province of Sorsogon and constituted into a distinct and independent barrio of said municipality to be known as the barrio of Naspi.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
