Republic Act No. 3390, enacted on June 18, 1961, officially designates the sitio of Bugsuk in the Municipality of Balabac, Province of Palawan, as a barrio. The Act states that this conversion takes effect immediately upon its approval. It was enacted without the need for Executive approval and was subsequently published in the Official Gazette on June 18, 1962.

AN ACT CREATING THE BARRIO OF BUGSUK IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BALABAC, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN
SECTION 1. The sitio of Bugsuk in the Municipality of Balabac, Province of Palawan, is converted into a barrio of said municipality, to be known as the barrio of Bugsuk. cd i
