Creation of Barrio Bagong Pook in San Jose, Batangas
Republic Act No. 2224, enacted on May 17, 1959, establishes the barrio of Bagong Pook in the Municipality of San Jose, Province of Batangas. It converts the sitio of Pulo, which is part of the barrio of Tugtog, into this new barrio. The Act took effect immediately upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on July 13, 1959.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2224
AN ACT CREATING THE BARRIO OF BAGONG POOK IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SAN JOSE, PROVINCE OF BATANGAS
SECTION 1. The sitio of Pulo in the barrio of Tugtog, Municipality of San Jose Province of Batangas, is converted into a barrio of said municipality to be known as the barrio of Bagong Pook.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
