| SUBJECT | : | Creation of a Regional Project Management Office (RPMO) in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) |
This refers to the letter dated 03 January 2020 of the DBM, recommending approval of the DPWH's proposal to create an RPMO in the BARMM and the two (2) Project Manager positions, which will serve as the head and deputy head of the RPMO.
Pursuant to Section 83 of the General Provisions of Republic Act No. 11465 or the "Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 General Appropriations Act (GAA)," please be informed of the APPROVAL of the creation of an RPMO in the BARMM and the two (2) Project Manager positions, subject to relevant laws, rules and regulations.
It is understood that the funding requirements for the positions to be created in the RPMO shall be charged against the Miscellaneous Personnel Benefits Fund of the FY 2020 GAA, while the funding requirements for the maintenance and other operating expense and capital outlays of the RPMO shall be charged against sources to be determined by the OBM, subject to the availability of funds, and in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
