EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 791

CREATING THE POSITION OF A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT IN THE BUREAU OF FOOD AND DRUGS SECRETARIAT TO THE INTER-AGENCY COMMITTEE CREATED UNDER EXECUTIVE ORDER NO. 51, SERIES OF 1986

WHEREAS, in view of the issuance of the new Revised Rules and Regulations implementing Executive Order No. 51 known as the National Milk Code and the affirmation by the Supreme Court of its validity, there is need for implementation of the provision requiring all advertisement of infant formula milk to obtain prior approval of the Inter-Agency Committee, acting upon the recommendation of the Bureau of Food and Drugs, its designated Secretariat. NOW THEREFORE I, GLORIA M. ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create a position for a representative of the Office of the President in the Bureau of Food and Drugs Secretariat to sit as part of the Inter-Agency Committee, who shall be required to countersign all recommendations submitted by the BFAD Secretariat to the Inter-Agency Committee.
