CREATING A PRESIDENTIAL TASK FORCE ON EMERGENCY EMPLOYMENT
WHEREAS, the generation of employment and livelihood opportunities for targeted income groups is part of the country's best preparation in thwarting the problems brought about by the global economic crisis; DcCASI
NOW THEREFORE, I, GLORIA M. ARROYO, President of the Philippines, by the powers vested in me by law, do hereby create a Presidential Task Force on Emergency Employment to be chaired by the President, with the following as members:
1. The Secretary of Labor and Employment
2. The Administrator of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration
3. The Administrator of the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration
4. The President of the Employers' Confederation of the Philippines
5. The President of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry
6. The President of the organization of recruitment agencies
7. A representative from the Trade Union Congress of the Philippines.
