REPUBLIC ACT NO. 11306
AN ACT CONVERTING INTO AN INDEPENDENT NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE CURRIMAO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL THE CURRIMAO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL-PIAS-GAANG CAMPUS IN BARANGAY PIAS NORTE, MUNICIPALITY OF CURRIMAO, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE, AND SEPARATING IT FROM ITS MOTHER SCHOOL, THE CURRIMAO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL IN BARANGAY POBLACION 2, MUNICIPALITY OF CURRIMAO, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE, HEREINAFTER RENAMED THE WILBUR C. GO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Currimao National High School-Pias-Gaang Campus in Barangay Pias Norte, Municipality of Currimao, Province of Ilocos Norte is hereby converted into an independent national high school to be now known as the Currimao National High School, and separated from its mother school, the Currimao National High School situated in Barangay Poblacion 2, Municipality of Currimao, Province of Ilocos Norte.
The mother school situated in Barangay Poblacion 2, Municipality of Currimao, Province of Ilocos Norte shall henceforth be known as the Wilbur C. Go National High School.
SECTION 2. All personnel, assets, liabilities and records of the Currimao National High School-Pias-Gaang Campus in Barangay Pias Norte, Municipality of Currimao, Province of Ilocos Norte are hereby transferred to and absorbed by the newly converted national high school, now known as the Currimao National High School.
SECTION 3. The Secretary of Education shall immediately include in the Department's program the operationalization of the newly converted national high school, now known as the Currimao National High School. The current year's appropriation of the mother school situated in Barangay Poblacion 2, Municipality of Currimao, Province of Ilocos Norte shall be absorbed by and remain with the now renamed Wilbur C. Go National High School. Thereafter, the amount necessary for the continued operation of both the Currimao National High School and the Wilbur C. Go National High School shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 4. The Secretary of Education shall issue the rules and regulations necessary to carry out the purpose of this Act within one hundred twenty (120) days after its effectivity.
SECTION 5. This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days after its publication in the Official Gazette or in a newspaper of general circulation. SDAaTC
