Batas Pambansa Blg. 764, enacted on April 13, 1984, converts the Vigan-San Vicente Provincial Road in Ilocos Sur into a national road, designated as the Vigan-San Vicente National Road. It stipulates that funding for the road's improvement and maintenance will come from the existing lump-sum appropriation authorized under Batas Pambansa Blg. 640 until future appropriations can provide dedicated maintenance funds. The Act took effect immediately upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on December 10, 1984.

BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 764
AN ACT CONVERTING THE VIGAN-SAN VICENTE PROVINCIAL ROAD IN THE PROVINCE OF ILOCOS SUR INTO A NATIONAL ROAD AND PROVIDING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Vigan-San Vicente Provincial Road in the Province of Ilocos Sur is converted into a national road to be known as the Vigan-San Vicente National Road.
SECTION 2. The amount necessary for the improvement and maintenance of said road shall continue to be funded out of the lump-sum appropriation authorized under Batas Pambansa Blg. 640 for the repair and maintenance of local roads until such time that the maintenance funds for said road shall have been provided for in the succeeding appropriations acts. casia
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
