Conversion of Tabuk in Kalinga, Mountain Province into a Regular Municipality

Republic Act No. 533, enacted on June 16, 1950, officially converts the municipal district of Tabuk in the Sub-province of Kalinga, Mountain Province, into a regular municipality named Tabuk. The current officials, including the mayor, vice-mayor, and councilors, will continue to serve in their roles with the same powers and responsibilities until their successors are elected and qualified. The Act took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette in October 1950.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 533

AN ACT TO CONVERT THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF TABUK, SUB-PROVINCE OF KALINGA, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE, INTO A REGULAR MUNICIPALITY TO BE KNOWN AS THE MUNICIPALITY OF TABUK

SECTION 1. The municipal district of Tabuk, Sub-province of Kalinga, Mountain Province, is hereby converted into a new municipality to be known as the municipality of Tabuk. cdt

SECTION 2. The present incumbent municipal district mayor, vice-mayor and councilors shall continue as such officials of the new municipality with the powers and duties of the same in regular municipalities and shall hold office until their successors shall have been elected and have qualified.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. cdt
