Batas Pambansa Blg. 529, enacted on June 10, 1983, converts the Sta. Maria Barangay High School in Potia, Ifugao, into the Sta. Maria National High School. The school will continue to receive funding from local sources and national aid for the current fiscal year, with future financial needs to be addressed in subsequent General Appropriations Acts. This act took effect immediately upon approval and was published in the Official Gazette on April 23, 1984.

AN ACT CONVERTING THE STA. MARIA BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF POTIA, PROVINCE OF IFUGAO, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE STA. MARIA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
SECTION 1. The Sta. Maria Barangay High School in the Municipality of Potia, Province of Ifugao, is hereby converted into a national high school to be known as the Sta. Maria National High School. cd i
SECTION 2. The operation of said school for the current fiscal year shall continue to be funded out of local funds and from its share of national aid to local schools. The requirements for succeeding fiscal years shall be provided in the forthcoming General Appropriations Acts.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
