Batas Pambansa Blg. 716, enacted on April 13, 1984, converts the National Highway-Lamao Port Provincial Road in Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte, into a national road, which spans 3.5 kilometers from the Port of Lamao to the national highway. The law mandates that funding for the road's improvement and maintenance will come from the existing lump sum appropriations for local roads until future appropriations are made. The act took effect immediately upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on November 26, 1984.

AN ACT CONVERTING THE NATIONAL HIGHWAY-LAMAO PORT PROVINCIAL ROAD IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LILOY, PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE, INTO A NATIONAL ROAD
SECTION 1. The National Highway-Lamao Port Provincial Road in the Municipality of Liloy, Province of Zamboanga del Norte, connecting a three and a half kilometer (3.5) road from the Port of Lamao to the national highway, is hereby converted into a national road.
SECTION 2. The amount necessary for the improvement and maintenance of said road shall continue to be funded out of the lump sum appropriation authorized under Batas Pambansa Blg. 640 for the repair and maintenance of local roads until such time that the maintenance funds for said road shall have been provided for in the succeeding appropriations acts.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. cdt
