Conversion of Municipal District of Allacapan, Cagayan to Municipality of Ballesteros
Commonwealth Act No. 692, enacted on October 15, 1945, converts the municipal district of Allacapan in Cagayan Province into the municipality of Allacapan. The Act specifies that certain sitios, namely Nararagan, Cabayu, Tolong, Silagan, Cabaggaoan, Luppiad, and Batalim, will be transferred to the jurisdiction of the neighboring municipality of Ballesteros. COMMONWEALTH ACT NO. 692
AN ACT TO CONVERT THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF ALLACAPAN, PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN, INTO A MUNICIPALITY, TRANSFERRING A PART OF ITS TERRITORIAL JURISDICTION TO THE MUNICIPALITY OF BALLESTEROS, PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN
SECTION 1. The municipal district of Allacapan, Province of Cagayan, is converted into the municipality of Allacapan, which shall comprise all the barrios and sitios now included in the territorial jurisdiction of said municipal district, except the sitios of Nararagan, Cabayu, Tolong, Silagan, Cabaggaoan, Luppiad and Batalim which are transferred to the territorial jurisdiction of the municipality of Ballesteros, Province of Cagayan.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
