Conversion of Maligaya Barangay High School in Palayan City Into a National High School
Batas Pambansa Blg. 514, enacted on June 10, 1983, converts the Maligaya Barangay High School in Palayan City into the Maligaya National High School. The school will continue to be funded through local resources and national aid for the current fiscal year, with future funding to be determined in subsequent General Appropriations Acts. The law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on April 23, 1984.

AN ACT CONVERTING THE MALIGAYA BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL IN THE CITY OF PALAYAN INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE MALIGAYA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Maligaya Barangay High School in the City of Palayan is converted into a national high school to be known as the Maligaya National High School. cd
SECTION 2. The operation of said school for the current fiscal year shall continue to be funded out of local funds and from its share of national aid to local schools. The requirements for succeeding fiscal years shall be provided in the forthcoming General Appropriations Acts.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. asia dc
