Batas Pambansa Blg. 804, enacted on April 27, 1984, converts specific provincial roads in Surigao City into national roads. The designated roads include the Surigao City-San Juan Coastal Road and a segment from the National Road to Navarro Street. Funding for the improvement and maintenance of these roads will continue from the lump sum appropriations under Batas Pambansa Blg. 640 until future appropriations are made. The Act took effect upon approval and was published in the Official Gazette on November 12, 1984.

BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 804
AN ACT CONVERTING CERTAIN PROVINCIAL ROADS IN THE CITY OF SURIGAO INTO NATIONAL ROADS
SECTION 1. The following provincial roads in the City of Surigao are converted into and declared as national roads:
(a) Surigao City-San Juan Coastal Road
(b) Jct. National Road-Quezon-Mapawa-Capalayan-Espina Extension-Navarro Street.
SECTION 2. The amount necessary for the improvement and maintenance of said roads shall continue to be funded out of the lump sum appropriation authorized under Batas Pambansa Blg. 640 for the repair and maintenance of local roads until such time that the maintenance funds for said roads shall have been provided for in the succeeding appropriations act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
