Conversion of Certain Provincial Roads in Romblon Into National Roads

Batas Pambansa Blg. 806, enacted on April 27, 1984, designates certain provincial roads in the Province of Romblon as national roads. Specifically, it converts the Ferrol-Buenavista Looc, Linawan-Mablaran Falls, and Magdiwang-Agtiwa-San Fernando Provincial Roads into national highways. Funding for the improvement and maintenance of these roads is to be sourced from an existing lump sum appropriation until future appropriations are made. The Act took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on November 12, 1984.

BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 806

AN ACT CONVERTING CERTAIN PROVINCIAL ROADS IN THE PROVINCE OF ROMBLON INTO NATIONAL ROADS

SECTION 1.  The Ferrol-Buenavista Looc Provincial Road, the Linawan-Mablaran Falls Provincial Road both in the Island of Tablas and the Magdiwang-Agtiwa-San Fernando Provincial Road in the Island of Sibuyan, all in the Province of Romblon, are converted into national roads.

SECTION 2.  The amount necessary for the improvement and maintenance of said roads shall continue to be funded out of the lump sum appropriation authorized under Batas Pambansa Blg. 640 for the repair and maintenance of local roads until such time that the maintenance funds for said roads shall have been provided for in the succeeding appropriations acts. cd i

SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
