Conversion of Certain High Schools in Bangui, Ilocos Norte Into a National High School

BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 293
AN ACT CONVERTING THE BANGUI PROVINCIAL HIGH SCHOOL AND ITS ANNEXES AND THE BANBAN BARANGAY HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF BANGUI, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS NORTE, INTO A NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR
SECTION 1. The Bangui Provincial High School and its annexes and the Banban Barangay High School in the Municipality of Bangui, Province of Ilocos Norte, are converted into a national high school, to be known as the Bangui National High School. casia
SECTION 2. A curriculum which includes academic, industrial arts, ceramics, electricity, handicraft and other allied courses shall be offered.
SECTION 3. The Minister of Education and Culture shall reorganize the said schools accordingly.
SECTION 4. Upon the organization of the new school, the assets, liabilities, personnel, equipment and records of the old schools shall be transferred to new national high school. cd
SECTION 5. The amount of one hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 for the Ministry of Education and Culture intended for new national schools: Provided, That the local government unit concerned shall continue to provide its share in the cost of operating and maintaining said school. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.
SECTION 6. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
