BATAS PAMBANSA BLG. 282

AN ACT CONVERTING THE ALBUERA MUNICIPAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ALBUERA, PROVINCE OF LEYTE, INTO A NATIONAL SCHOOL OF FISHERY, TO BE KNOWN AS THE ALBUERA NATIONAL SCHOOL OF FISHERY

SECTION 1. The Albuera Municipal High School in the Municipality of Albuera, Province of Leyte, is hereby converted into a national school of fishery, to be known as the Albuera National School of Fishery.

SECTION 2. The Ministry of Education and Culture shall take the necessary steps for the immediate implementation of this Act. acd

SECTION 3. The amount of one hundred thousand pesos for the operation of the school shall be funded out of the appropriations authorized by Batas Pambansa Blg. 131 for the Ministry of Education and Culture intended for new national schools: Provided, That the local government unit concerned shall continue to provide its share in the cost of operating and maintaining said school. Thereafter, such sum as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act.

SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
