Changing the Name of Eastern Visayas Science High School in Palo, Leyte
Republic Act No. 8057, enacted on June 15, 1995, officially changes the name of Eastern Visayas Science High School in Candahug, Palo, Leyte, to Philippine Science High School-Eastern Visayas Campus. Under this act, students at the new campus are entitled to the same benefits and privileges as those attending the Philippine Science High School in Diliman, Quezon City. REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8057
AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF EASTERN VISAYAS SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL IN CANDAHUG, PALO, LEYTE, TO PHILIPPINE SCIENCE HIGH SCHOOL-EASTERN VISAYAS CAMPUS
SECTION 1. The name of the Eastern Visayas Science High School in Candahug, Palo, Leyte, shall be changed to Philippine Science High School-Eastern Visayas Campus. cdt
SECTION 2. The students of the Philippine Science High School-Eastern Visayas Campus shall enjoy the same benefits and privileges as the students of the Philippine Science High School in Diliman, Quezon City.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
* Lapsed into law on June 15, 1995, without the signature of the President, in accordance with Article VI, Section 27 (1) of the Constitution.
