Change of Names of Emergency Hospitals in Lopez and Catanauan, Quezon

Republic Act No. 2188, enacted on May 7, 1959, officially changes the names of two emergency hospitals in Quezon Province. The Lopez Elementary Hospital is renamed Magsaysay Memorial Hospital, while the Catanauan Emergency Hospital is renamed Bondoc Peninsula General Hospital. The law took effect immediately upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2188

AN ACT CHANGING THE NAMES OF THE EMERGENCY HOSPITALS IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF LOPEZ AND CATANAUAN, PROVINCE OF QUEZON

SECTION 1. The name of the Lopez Elementary Hospital in the Municipality of Lopez, and the name of the Catanauan Emergency Hospital in the Municipality of Catanauan, Province of Quezon, are hereby changed to Magsaysay Memorial Hospital and Bondoc Peninsula General Hospital, respectively.

SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
