Change of Names of Certain Barrios in Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro
Republic Act No. 1727, enacted on June 21, 1957, officially renames three barrios in the Municipality of Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro. The barrio of Batasan will now be called Claudio Salgado, Hinaya will be renamed Buhay na Bato, and Iriron will be known as San Isidro. This law took effect upon its approval and was published in the Official Gazette on August 31, 1957.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 1727
AN ACT CHANGING THE NAMES OF CERTAIN BARRIOS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SABLAYAN, PROVINCE OF OCCIDENTAL MINDORO
SECTION 1. The barrios of Batasan, Hinaya and Iriron in the Municipality of Sablayan, Province of Occidental Mindoro, shall hereafter be known as barrios Claudio Salgado, Buhay na Bato and San Isidro, respectively.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
