Change of Name of Wright, Samar to Paranas
Republic Act No. 6681, enacted on November 4, 1988, officially changes the name of the Municipality of Wright in the Province of Samar to the Municipality of Paranas. The Act took effect immediately upon its approval. It was published in the Official Gazette on November 7, 1988.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 6681
AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF WRIGHT, PROVINCE OF SAMAR, TO MUNICIPALITY OF PARANAS
SECTION 1. The name of the Municipality of Wright, Province of Samar, is hereby changed to Municipality of Paranas.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
