Change of Name of Province of North Cotabato to Cotabato

Batas Pambansa Blg. 660, enacted on March 7, 1984, officially changes the name of the Province of North Cotabato to Cotabato. The Act stipulates that this name change will take effect immediately upon its approval. Notably, it was enacted without the need for executive approval and was published in the Official Gazette on February 4, 1985.

AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE PROVINCE OF NORTH COTABATO TO COTABATO
SECTION 1. The Province of North Cotabato shall hereafter be known as the Province of Cotabato.
