Change of Name of Payabon, Negros Oriental to Bindoy
Republic Act No. 2526, enacted on June 21, 1959, officially changes the name of the Municipality of Payabon in Negros Oriental to the Municipality of Bindoy. REPUBLIC ACT NO. 2526
AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF PAYABON, PROVINCE OF NEGROS ORIENTAL, TO MUNICIPALITY OF BINDOY
SECTION 1. In order to honor the memory of one of the greatest statesmen produced by the Province of Negros Oriental, the name of the Municipality of Payabon, Province of Negros Oriental, is changed to Municipality of Bindoy. acd
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
Enacted without executive approval, June 21, 1959.
