Batas Pambansa Blg. 797Statutes

Batas Pambansa Blg. 797, enacted on April 27, 1984, officially changes the name of Palawan Teacher's College in Puerto Princesa City to Palawan State College. The Act authorizes the institution to continue offering its existing collegiate courses along with additional programs in arts, sciences, and technology. It takes effect immediately upon approval and was published in the Official Gazette on November 12, 1984.

AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE PALAWAN TEACHER'S COLLEGE IN PUERTO PRINCESA CITY TO THE PALAWAN STATE COLLEGE AND AUTHORIZING THE SAME TO CONTINUE OFFERING ITS PRESENT COLLEGIATE COURSES

SECTION 1.  The name of the Palawan Teacher's College in Puerto Princesa City to the Palawan, is changed to Palawan State College.

SECTION 2.  The Palawan State College is authorized to continue offering its present collegiate courses and other courses in arts, sciences and technology.

SECTION 3.  This Act shall take effect upon its approval. cd i
