Republic Act No. 3386, enacted on June 18, 1961, officially changes the name of the Municipality of Lapog in Ilocos Sur to San Juan. The Act took effect immediately upon its approval. It was published in the Official Gazette on June 18, 1962, and was enacted without the need for Executive approval.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3386
AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF LAPOG, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS SUR, TO SAN JUAN
SECTION 1. The name of the Municipality of Lapog in the Province of Ilocos Sur is changed to San Juan.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. cdt
