Change of Name of Marcos, Palawan to Dr. Jose P. Rizal
Republic Act No. 6652, enacted on April 17, 1988, officially changes the name of the Municipality of Marcos in Palawan to the Municipality of Dr. Jose P. Rizal. The law took effect immediately upon its approval, as it lapsed into law without the President's signature, in accordance with the Philippine Constitution. The act was published in the Official Gazette on May 9, 1988.

AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARCOS, PROVINCE OF PALAWAN, TO MUNICIPALITY OF DR. JOSE P. RIZAL
SECTION 1. The name of the Municipality of Marcos in the province of Palawan is hereby changed to Municipality of Dr. Jose P. Rizal. cd
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon its approval.
