Republic Act No. 7697, enacted on April 17, 1994, officially changes the name of Licanan Elementary School located in Barangay San Isidro, Bunawan District, Davao City, to Pablo Piatos, Sr. Elementary School. The law took effect immediately upon its approval, as it lapsed into law without the President's signature, in accordance with Article VI, Section 27(1) of the Philippine Constitution.

AN ACT CHANGING THE NAME OF THE LICANAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN BARANGAY SAN ISIDRO, BUNAWAN DISTRICT, DAVAO CITY, TO PABLO PIATOS, SR. ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
SECTION 1. The name of the Licanan Elementary School in Barangay San Isidro, Bunawan District, Davao City, is hereby changed to Pablo Piatos, Sr. Elementary School. acd
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
